What are they Playing? Favorite Celebrity Games

0

Everybody plays video games. That’s not an exaggeration.  But despite this, there is still a stigma around gamers. It doesn’t matter that video games have become the largest industry in the entertainment industry, or that they are respected as an artistic medium. For much of society, they will remain something “for children”.

If you also choose League of Legends, we recommend trying the Mobalytics app for improving your personal gaming skills. Before starting the game, check out champion builds based on stats for all League of Legends champions.

That’s why it feels great when a famous and successful person reveals to the world that he or she also enjoys playing video games. No matter how cynical we are about the culture of the show, it feels like a vindication.

Whether they are using a mobile phone, Nintendo, Playstation, Xbox, or any other platform, the level of enjoyment is still the same. That’s why we at Livetray.com encourage people to do whatever they think they can enjoy as we believe in promoting a healthy mind and body. Let’s take a look at some celebrities who play video games during their free time.

  • Lady Gaga

The winner of six Grammy Awards who has just made the leap to the film industry with A Star is Born. She has recently confessed on Twitter that she is a gamer and is currently enjoying Bayonetta, an excellent action game where she controls a very sexy witch at war against the forces of heaven and hell.

It seems that the singer of Million Reasons and Bad Romance is suffering a little with this game despite being quite close to its end. It’s not for nothing, Bayonetta is not an easy game. Despite this, it is understandable that she is enjoying it because its visual style is quite attractive and many would say the same.

  • Ariana Grande

Lady Gaga is not the only pop singer who was having trouble with a video game. At the end of November Ariana Grande asked his more than 130 million Instagram followers (and especially singer Halsey) for help in playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe online with a friend.

It’s understandable that Ariana was confused when it came to playing online. Nintendo Switch uses a very unintuitive code system. By the way, did you know she’s a playable character in a Final Fantasy mobile game? His song Touch was used to promote it.

  • Grimes

Grimes is another singer who has an interesting relationship with video games and who has openly declared his love for them. She has streamed video games such as Bloodborne on Twitch.tv where she uses the name “Ocarina of Grimes” (a reference to the popular The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which she considers the best video game of all time and of which she has a tattoo).

Her appearance in her most recent video is inspired by Samus from the Metroid series

  • Wu-Tang Clan

But it’s not just pop singers who enjoy this medium. Rap has a long relationship with this medium. By the end of the last century, Wu-Tang Clan had produced its own video game and other famous rappers even made special appearances in games like those belonging to the GTA saga.

  • Snoop Dog

The famous rapper Snoop Dogg is also a well-known gamer. In the past, he has made quite fun collaborations with Call of Duty and Madden streaming. This year he was encouraged to promote the one he considers one of his favorite characters in video games for the release of the remake of Spyro’s trilogy.

  • Drake

But it was Canadian rapper Drake who came to break the records. On May 14, In My Feelings singer joined the popular Fortnite streamer, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, to play on Twitch. The broadcast (which was also part of rapper Travis Scott and football player JuJu Smith-Schuster) was watched by more than 635,000 people, becoming the most-watched on the site.

Other rappers famous for their taste in video games include Ice T, Post Malone, Vince Staples, and Lupe Fiasco, who even beat one of the best players in the world in the release of Street Fighter V.

  • Paris Hilton

Outside the world of music, we have the entrepreneur, ex-model, and socialite Paris Hilton. In the past, she was regular at video game release events and constantly uploaded her Nintendo DS. Probably in the wallet next to his chihuahua.

  • Pia Wurtzbach

If you find it strange that a model is a video game fan, let me tell you that you are very disconnected from the real world. Even a Miss Universe can be a gamer. Pia Wurtzbach, the Miss Philippines remembered for Steve Harvey’s controversy who initially gave the crown to our Miss Colombia instead of her in 2015, is a video game fan and, in her own words, “a great nerd.”

  • Chrissy Teigen

Chrissy Teigen, model and currently wife of singer John Legend, is a fan of the death of Nintendo. So much so that in 2013 she celebrated her birthday disguised as Princess Peach

Last year it took Twitter to heavily criticize Nintendo for the mobile adaptation of its favorite saga, Animal Crossing, as it considered the result to be something that was not up to the other games.

  • Candice Patton

And we don’t forget Candice Patton. The actress is famous for playing Iris West in The Flash. In early December she proved that Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande were not the only ones suffering on a Nintendo Switch, as she was having her own problems with a boss of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild. Fortunately, she then started playing Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, something she considers “much more relaxing”.

Everybody plays. Even politicians play. Alexandría Ocasio-Cortez, the current Congresswoman of the Democratic Party in the State of New York, recently confessed to playing League of Legends.

As you can see, video games are appreciated by all kinds of people. It’s been several decades since they stopped being considered a “child-only” toy (which was never really just that). The next time you go to a concert, consider the possibility that your favorite artist is probably relaxing playing with a Nintendo Switch before going on stage.
