Razer phone vs Oneplus 5t

Razor was famous for developing high end gaming machines but now they have entered into smartphone market and came out with their first smartphone. Performance:

The Razor phone consist of snapdragon 835 coupled with a 8gb ram. The snapdragon 835 is an octa core CPU with four cores running at 2.45GHz and another four cores running at 1.9GHz. This CPU is made with a 10 nm technology. This processor can be described as the most powerful one currently running in market. Also it has an Adreno 540 GPU which can run any sort of games available now and the one which will be developed in future.  The 8gb ram in this smartphone is a LPDDR4 ram and has clock speed of 1866MHz. It has an internal storage of 64GB and external memory is supported upto 2TB. The configuration of this most is like a beast PC for gamers and this hardware will fulfil all the requirement of modern games and also for future games.

On the other hand Oneplus 5t is a flagship phone that is coupled with snapdragon 835 CPU and Adreno 540 GPU containing all the specifications listed above. It has an 8GB ram and has an internal storage support of 128GB.It is also available in a 6GB variant. It didn’t has external storage facility.Here the clock speed of the 8GB ram used in Oneplus 5t is less than that of the Razor phone. In comparison with the razor phones hardware Oneplus 5t lags behind in some aspect like it doesn’t support external storage and the clock speed of the ram of Oneplus 5t is less. Also we can say that the performance of Razor phone is more than that of Oneplus 5t as Razors hardware is the best match for gaming and Oneplus 5t lags behind in ram speed and external memory support. If gaming is your prime priority you must go for Razor phone.

Battery:

The Razor phone has a 4000mAh battery which contains enough juice for an all-day well performance. It also has a Qualcomm quick charge 4+ technology for fast charging.

On the other hand Oneplus 5t only has a 3300mAh battery and a Dash charge feature for quick charge. The reality about this phones battery performance is that Razor gives you more hours performance than Oneplus 5t because of the 4000mAh battery. But Oneplus 5t charges faster than the Razor smartphone because of the dash charging facility and the 700mAh less battery. Speaking truely the dash charging technology provides faster charging than that of Qualcomm quick charge 4+. So if faster battery charging on go is your priority then you should go for Oneplus 5t and if more hours of battery life is your priority then you must go for Razor phone.

Design:

Comparing this phone on the basis of their design the Razor phone contains a block shaped structure whose design would be similar for one who knows about the Nextbit Robin smartphone. This smartphone feels bulky in hand and is difficult to use single handedly. Also it doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner at back of the phone as the fingerprint sensor is embedded in the power button itself.

On the other hand Oneplus 5t has a nice curvy design and is very much enjoyable in single handed usage. Also it has the fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone which many users may find helpful as using a fingerprint scanner at back of phone is easier and more responsive than one with power button. So for the one to enjoy a clear haptic feeling of a smartphone in hand Oneplus 5t is the best choice and for the gamers who are eager about the Razor’s logo and a gaming look go for Razor smartphone.

Camera:

The Razor smartphone is coupled with dual camera setup whose one camera is a wide camera with 12MP autofocus with a f1.75 aperture and another one with a 12MP autofocus f2.6 aperture containing camera with zoom.It also contains dual led flash. It also contains an 8MP front camera with an f2.0 aperture. The performance of the rear dual camera shooter is amazing but the front camera lags behind during low light conditions.

On the other hand Oneplus 5t contains dual camera setup with one 16MP shooter with an f1.7 aperture and IMX 398 sensor and the other is a 20MP shooter with sony IMX 376K sensor and f1.7 aperture.It also contains dual led flash.It can record videos upto 4k at 30 frames per second.The front camera is a 16MP shooter with IMX 371 sensor.This front camera can also record 1080p resolution videos at 30fps. So from this configuration we can easily say that Oneplus 5t is a clear winner and gives us the best shots than that of Razor phone.

Display:

The Razor phone has a 5.7 inches IGZO LCD 1440 x 2560 resolution display. The speciality of this display is that it has a 120 Hz UltraMotion screen refresh speed and a corning gorilla glass 3 protecion.This 120Hz refresh screen serves highly useful for gaming purpose to see and feel each and every shots of the game you play.

While on the other hand Oneplus 5t has  a 6.01 inches screen with a 1080 x 2160 pixels and 401 pixels per inch ratio. It is an 18:9 amoled display. I has a corning gorilla glass 5 protection and a 2.5d corning. Clearly from the above specs we can say that Oneplus 5t is a modern phone with a modern display aspect but for gamers its not a choice because the Razor has tha 120Hz refresh screen which you will not get in any other phone and no other phone would give a gaming experience than Razor.

Price:

Coming to the last aspect price the price of Razor phone is 699.9 USD and of Oneplus 5t is 549 USD so we can clearly see a price difference of about 140USD and this difference is okay for the specs that Razor provides to us.

So the final verdict is if you have a 600USD budget and want to have an all rounder phone go for Oneplus 5t as it works well under every aspects we considered above but if you have a good budget and gaming is your priority go for Razor phone as no other phone in the world can currently give you the gaming experience like it.
